The Department of Social Sciences and Languages holds a range of competitions for students to engage with their subject beyond the classroom.

Seeing Politics

“Seeing Politics” is a competition that asks students “What does Politics mean to you?”

The media often presents us with images of politics. This competition is an opportunity for students to let us know what they think by submitting a single picture or a series of photos (5 maximum) which captures what politics means to them with a caption (about 150 words). The prize for the best submission is an ipad (or £200 cash)!
